Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using NT AI Assistant (“the service”), operated by News Targeted, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must meet the minimum age and capacity required by law in your jurisdiction to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of passwords, 2FA factors, and passkeys. Notify us promptly via Contact if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may sign in with email and password and/or linked providers (e.g. Discord, Roblox) where enabled. You must not share account credentials in a way that circumvents access controls. Features such as account merge are offered only as described in the product and may require verification.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms and any posted guidelines.
• Not attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or bypass quotas, authentication, or billing.
• Not generate, request, or distribute content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights, or is severely harmful (including malware instructions, non-consensual intimate imagery, or credible threats).
• Not misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the service to send spam or deceptive communications.
• Not resell or sublicense access to the service without our written permission.

We may investigate misuse, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, or cooperate with authorities when appropriate.

4. Tokens, plans, and payments

Many features consume credits. Credit costs, plans, and packs are shown on Pricing and in Settings → Billing where available. Purchases may be processed by third-party payment processors (e.g. Stripe); their terms and privacy notices also apply to payment transactions.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, fees are non-refundable. Subscriptions renew according to the terms presented at purchase until cancelled. We may change prices or credit economics with reasonable notice where required.

5. Third-party services and AI output

The service integrates third-party AI, hosting, search, and identity providers. Their availability and behaviour can change. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You must evaluate results yourself, especially for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions. We do not provide professional advice.

6. Intellectual property

You retain rights to content you submit, subject to the rights we need to host, process, and display it. You warrant you have the rights to submit your content. Generated output may be subject to third-party model terms; we do not guarantee exclusivity or commercial usability of every output. Do not use the service to infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.

7. Availability and changes

We strive for reliable operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, limit, or discontinue features (including models or providers) for legal, technical, or business reasons. Significant changes may be noted in the Changelog or in-product notices.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty euros (€50), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in Norway shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction unless a different forum is required by mandatory law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the revised version and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. For material changes we may provide additional notice (e.g. email or in-app message).
