Understanding Version Numbers

Credits and discounts

  • Length usage multiplier: Added plan-based length usage multiplier in Admin -> Discounts. Example: x2 gives about double characters per length-based credit without increasing user balance.
  • Plan coverage: Discount plan picker now follows subscription slugs from Admin -> Subscriptions, including Free and newly added tiers.

Reliability and UX

  • Auto schema fix: If the discounts table misses length_usage_multiplier, the app now attempts to add it automatically and shows a clear warning if DB permissions block it.
  • Thinking UI cleanup: Removed Thinking toggle in chat flows and aligned defaults so normal chat uses base multiplier while DBM-style prompts keep the cheaper exception.

Chat LLM visibility

  • LLM badge in replies: Assistant messages now show which LLM provider and model produced the final response.
  • Failover hidden from chat: Fallback attempts are no longer shown to end users in the chat UI.

Reliability and diagnostics

  • Activity logging for each failed attempt: Every failed LLM failover attempt is now logged in Admin Activity with provider, model, status code, retryability, timeout, and error fingerprint.
  • Structured failover chain: The backend stores the full failover attempt chain for diagnostics while keeping chat output clean.

Billing, pricing & contact

  • Billing in Settings: New Settings → Billing section: current plan, credit balance, activity, and shortcuts to Pricing. Stripe checkout can return to Billing when you open Pricing with from=billing.
  • Stripe success URL: Checkout success URL now appends session_id with the correct ? or & so query strings are valid.
  • Contact page: Footer on /contact shows Home · Settings when logged in; guests still see Log in · Home.

  • This page: Changelog redesigned: SemVer guide, search and filters, expandable version cards, per-version copy link, English and Norwegian (?lang=en / ?lang=no).

Documentation and legal

  • New pages: Added Docs, Changelog, Privacy, and Terms. Docs cover getting started, Chat, credits, Image Studio, and settings.

Chat and web search

  • Errors & fallback: Clearer errors when the model is unreachable (e.g. Ollama). With web search on, messages state whether search ran and returned results. Optional fallback to a cloud provider if a key is set.
  • Network & timeouts: Clear message when the server returns an HTML error page (e.g. timeout). Increased PHP time limit for long chat replies when allowed.
